Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has played down early talk of a European challenge, ahead of his side's trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday (3pm).

Nuno's men are unbeaten in five and place ninth in the Premier League table, sparking fresh talk of a challenge for the Top 7, albeit early days.

In response, the Wolves boss stated, "We only look at the next game, and focus on the next game."

Their opponents on Saturday, Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace, are winless at home this season, five points adrift of the visitors.

Hodgson has confirmed that Christian Benteke, who suffered a knee injury with Belgium last month, is still unavailable for the weekend, whilst Jairo Riedewald makes a return to the squad, having missed the defeat to Bournemouth on Monday.

“Benteke is the one, we have been expecting that as he needs a bit more time but he is making good progress," Hodgson confirmed.

Nuno, on the other hand, has stated that Wolves could be unchanged for the eighth fixture in a row, as Helder Costa recovered from a slight knock, thus the Portuguese boss has a full squad at his disposal.
