Everton will be looking to bounce back from their battling 2-1 defeat away at Manchester United last weekend.
Whereas, Brighton will be looking to build on their impressive 1-0 win at home to Wolves and make it four wins in a row for the first time in their Premier League history.
The ninth placed Toffees will be looking for the three points in this match to keep them in the top half of the table.
The 11th placed Seagulls will be looking to leapfrog the Toffees into ninth place if they can pick up maximum points on Merseyside.
TEAM NEWS:
Everton boss Marco Silva will be missing two of his defenders in Jonjoe Kenny and Phil Jagielka; who are both unavailable through knee injuries.
Midfielder James McCarthy is stepping up his return from a broken leg and played for the club's under-23 side this week.
Brighton remain without the duo of Pascal Gross and Davy Propper due to ankle injuries.
Gross has not played for two months while Propper has been absent since the win over West Ham on 5 October.

THE MANAGERS:
Everton boss Silva gave the media an injury update on two of his defenders ahead of the visit of Brighton.
"We know that Kurt Zouma can't play against Chelsea," Silva said. Yerry Mina is ready to play if I make the decision - our ambition and focus is on tomorrow’s match.
"The friendly match next week [against GOR MAHIA FC] could be a good solution. Our ambitions and focus is on tomorrow's match."
Brighton boss Chris Hughton has reflected on his side's impressive three-match win streak that has gotten them a safe distance away from the relegation zone.
"We know how valuable a win is in this division - and we know how impressive three on the spin is too," Hughton said.
"The nature of the results show the resilience of the squad and we've showed great spirit.
"As quickly as you can put a run together, it can go the other way too. "We have two tough away games coming up - but we've learned and progressed and the results show that."
