Fulham vs Liverpool: Past 5 Meetings

It's Fulham welcoming Liverpool to Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Sunday... the game means a tad more for the visitors; who are aiming for their first title in 29 years. Whereas the hosts could be forgiven for assuming their relegation from the English top-flight this season...

Liverpool 2-0 Fulham (11/11/18)

Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri were on target as Jurgen Klopp's men brought an end to Slaviska Jokanovic's reign at Fulham.

Jokanovic claimed referee Paul Tierney showed "disrespect" after disallowing Aleksandr Mitrovic's header, which then led to Salah scoring 14 seconds later at the other end.

But in the end it was comfortable for Jurgen Klopp's men, who sent Fulham to the bottom of the table with the win.

Fulham 2-3 Liverpool (12/02/14)

Steven Gerrard scored a last-minute penalty for Liverpool as they moved four points off Manchester City win a win at Craven Cottage.

Sound familiar? Liverpool & Manchester City going for the title? That was the case again in 2013/14... and we all know how that ended up. Sorry, Liverpool fans.

Kolo Toure scored an own goal to give the Cottagers a surprise lead, but Daniel Sturridge equalised following Gerrard's unreal through ball.

However, Kieran Richardson punished Liverpool for some poor defending to regain the hosts' lead in London.

But Philippe Coutinho levelled the game late on before their captain, leader, legend won the game from 12-yards.

Liverpool 4-0 Fulham (09/11/13)

Luis Suarez stole the show for Liverpool, as they thumped Fulham by four goals to nil at Anfield in November 2013.

The Uruguayan scored a brace, with Fernando Amorebieta scoring an early own goal before Martin Skrtel doubled the home side's advantage in quick succession.

It was a dominant performance for the then Brendan Rodgers' men, who were simply unstoppable going forward in 2013/14.

Fulham 1-3 Liverpool (12/05/13)

Daniel Sturridge scored a career-first hat-trick as Liverpool beat Fulham 3-1 at Craven Cottage, to give the Cottagers their fifth league defeat in a row.

Dimitar Berbatov initially gave the home side the lead before Sturridge equalised not long after.

The former Chelsea and Bolton Wanderers striker was in a bullish mood - and he punished Fulham twice more to ensure the match ball was going back to the Sturridge household.

Liverpool 4-0 Fulham (22/12/12)

Liverpool dominated Fulham again at Anfield - as Stewart Downing impressed for the Reds in December 2012.

It was an early Christmas present for Liverpool fans as they seen their side completely dominate a helpless travelling contingent.

Martin Skrtel headed in the opener, before Steven Gerrard scored the Reds' second of the day.

Downing scored his first Premier League goal for Liverpool before Luis Suarez put the icing on the proverbial cake for the Reds.
