Former Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has backed Jose Mourinho and believes he is the right man for the job still.
Mourinho has come under increasing pressure since the season started with two losses in United's opening three games against Brighton and Tottenham.
Former United players Gary Neville and Bryan Robson have already backed Mourinho and Giggs is the latest in that category to stand by the manager.
Giggs was asked whether he could replace Mourinho as United manager: "Manchester United have got a fantastic manager already there," Giggs insisted to Sky Sports.
"The club are going through a tough time but you've got to come through those tough times.
"I don't see where Manchester United go after Mourinho. I think they've got the right man and they should stick with him.
"The club, the players and the fans should all stick together."
Mourinho's press-conference following Monday night's defeat to Spurs was a rather animated one on behalf of the manager and Giggs believes it's "difficult" for Jose at this moment.
"It's always difficult for a manager after a result like that," Giggs explained. "I was at the game and I understand Jose's frustration because on another day, United win that game.
"They didn't and then because of the way the game ended with the third goal, it looks worse than it was. Losing the game before, everything gathers pace.
"The good thing about football is that you always have the next game to come back. It is all about concentrating on that game against Burnley, everything else outside is noise that you can't control."
