Cardiff City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson has agreed to join Qatar club Al-Arabi at the end of this season, according to Wales Online.
Gunnarsson will leave the Bluebirds at the end of the season, whether they stay in the Premier League or not, ending his eight-year stay with the Welsh club.
The Iceland captain will join Qatar side Al-Arabi with his contract at the Cardiff City Stadium expiring in June this year.
Sources at the publication have said that even if the Bluebirds are to offer the midfielder a new deal at the club, he will reject those offers.
But Gunnarsson is determined to give everything he can to help Neil Warnock's team stay in the English top-flight for next season.
The 29-year-old has been linked with moves to the middle east, with Bundesliga clubs and Chinese Super League sides also interested in Gunnarsson.
