HAZARD "READY TO ACCEPT" CHELSEA CONTRACT

Chelsea star Eden Hazard is finally "ready to accept" the Blues' contract offer despite much speculation about the Belgian moving to Real Madrid.

It looks like Chelsea have finally made a breakthrough after months of uncertainty regarding the winger's future in London.

Italian news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport speculate that the deal offered to Chelsea's number 10 is worth €18m a year.

Hazard has been very open about his future, admitting that he'd consider a move abroad a few times - and it looks as if Chelsea will have to pay their star the top money to convince him to stay put.

The Belgium international's current contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of next season, and Chelsea don't want a repeat of the Thibaut Courtois situation, with the 'keeper allowed to leave for cheap to Real Madrid.
