HUDDERSFIELD TOWN PREVIEW: LEICESTER CITY (A)

Huddersfield Town travel to Leicester City on Saturday, hoping to secure a first win of their Premier League season...

David Wagner's side will be keen to avoid a repeat of last season's trip to the Midlands, which ended in a 3-0 defeat.

A win in Saturday's 3PM kick off would be a welcome and much needed result for the Terriers, who have picked up just two points from their opening five league fixtures.

Regardless of their poor start, Leicester's 4-2 defeat at Bournemouth last weekend will give Huddersfield hope of picking up a result.

TEAM NEWS:

Midfielder Jonathan Hogg looks set to return to the Terriers set up, but the form of Philip Billing in midfield could deny Hogg a starting berth.

Wagner looks set to be faced with a defensive selection headache, with the likes of Terrence Kongolo, Mathias Jorgensen and Christopher Schindler all vying for a place in the team.

Citing his concerns over his side's goalscoring record, stating that it is "not the best", Wagner will be happy to see the potential return of livewire Alex Pritchard to the starting line up.

WAGNER'S COMMENTS:

Speaking to the press, Wagner admitted that Leicester have "one of the best teams in terms of individual quality away from the top six", suggesting that an away victory will be no mean feat.

Wagner also addressed his sides poor form in front of goal, claiming that it "makes no sense to run away" and ensuring that his side will "turn it" - perhaps suggesting an exciting attacking display is on the cards.

Full of positive words, Wagner added that Huddersfield will "make life uncomfortable for Leicester" and that "the mood is very good"

BETTING ODDS/PREDICTION:

Clearly huge underdogs, Huddersfield are 11/2 to win the game, as opposed to their opponents 11/20 odds.

Leicester's young prodigy James Maddison is priced at 5/1 to score the game's first goal, whereas Fousseni Diabate and Steve Mounie are even at 9/1 to score a first goal in favour of the away side.

Leicester 2-0 Huddersfield

I can see Leicester having too much quality for Huddersfield, and can only envisage a fourth defeat of the season for the away side.
