Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne has been linked with a move to Liverpool for quite some time now. Well, now his father, Carmine Insigne has got involved.
The Italian website, La Republicca, last week said that the Reds had a £61m bid rejected for Insigne in the January transfer window.
But despite the second-place Premier League side being interested in the 26-year-old, his father has insisted his son is happy in Naples.
"Lorenzo is doing very well in Naples and does not intend to go anywhere else. The captain's armband is a source of great pride for him and for our entire family."
Insigne received the armband in the summer when former captain Marek Hamsik moved to the Chinese Super League.
Italian newspapers have also suggested that the two Manchester clubs; Man City and Man United are both interested in the Italy international.
