KEITA "FINE" AFTER BEING STRETCHERED OFF

Naby Keita is "fine" despite being brought off the pitch on a stretcher in Liverpool's 1-0 defeat to Napoli on Wednesday night.

Keita went down injured in the 19th minute, clutching his back, so the medical team came on and the African midfielder was forced off.

Liverpool released a statement on Keita with more information: "Keita was transferred to a local hospital with the club doctor, where - with the midfielder's agreement - he underwent a number of precautionary health checks to assess his condition."

The new Liverpool man, who signed from RB Leipzig this summer has traveled back to Merseyside, like originally planned with the squad.

Keita could now be fit for the hugely crucial game against Manchester City on Sunday at Anfield.
