Liverpool are eyeing a move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, according to the Daily Express.
Jurgen Klopp worked with Lewandowski at Borussia Dortmund in the past, and the report says the Liverpool boss could be about to form a sensational reunion with his former striker.
Bayern Munich are reported to be getting rid of a load of players in the summer in a complete overhaul. Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Manuel Neuer are all speculated to be leaving the German champions.
Liverpool are in pole-position to make an offer for the 31-year-old striker, but the Reds are thought to be asked to spend £70m to secure the Poland international's services.
Lewandowski has been one of Europe's elite strikers in the last decade or so and this season he's scored 21 goals in 27 appearances in the Bundesliga.
