Tottenham winger Lucas Moura has revealed that he endured the worst seven months of his career under Unai Emery at PSG.
The pair have both since switched to either side of North London, with Lucas signing for Spurs in January and Emery being appointed manager of Arsenal earlier in the summer.
Moura has been on brilliant form since the start of the season - netting his first Spurs goal against Fulham a couple of weeks ago, before putting in a man of the match performance against Manchester United (scoring two).
The Brazilian spoke about what he has had to go through to get to this moment and mentioned his time under Emery in Paris.
"It was very hard, the worst seven months of my life," Moura told ESPN Brazil.
"I came from a very good season, I was second top scorer of the team, only behind Cavani. The following season, I wasn't even called up. I used to go to practice, I wasn't even in the game. I used to go back home.
"Anyway, it was very difficult. But I kept working hard, strong. And God have me the best gift of my life, my son."
