Liverpool midfielder James Milner has admitted his team are currently underachievers, but the former Manchester City star has vowed to change that.
The Reds' trophy return in the last 10 years is simply not good enough according to their veteran midfielder - with the Merseyside giants just winning one trophy in that time.
But with Liverpool now through to the Champions League quarter-finals after a 3-1 second-leg away win at Bayern Munich.
They are also well in this season's Premier League title race - one point behind current leaders and Milner's former team Man City.
"You know, it's been so long since we won a league title," Milner said on Liverpool's title drought of 29 years now.
"Even in recent years, Liverpool haven't won as many trophies as they should do for such a big club.
"Even for us now - we are a young team, we are improving but the chances we have given ourselves? We have to put that right. We have to get over the line in one of them."
Milner was part of the Liverpool side that lost out in the Champions League final last season to Real Madrid, and he is determined to help change the Reds' luck.
The former Leeds United and Aston Villa midfielder has also featured in losing sides against Sevilla (Europa League final) and against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final.
The 33-year-old said:
"I have been to three finals since I have been here, lost them all and I am desperate to put that right. It's a memory you will never forget.
"You are proud to have played in the European Cup Final, but you don't go there to lose.
"Listen, I have loved every minute of my time at Liverpool but to have not won something when we have given ourselves opportunities is difficult to take at this moment.
"It is something I am desperate to put right."
