MISERY CONTINUES FOR RAFA AND NEWCASTLE

Leicester City win 2-0 at St. James' Park to add more misery to manager Rafael Benitez and his Newcastle United side, who are STILL without a win this season.

The Foxes put the pressure on the Newcastle goal early on and looked a constant threat on the break.

Leicester won a penalty when Harry Maguire's header was blocked by the hand of DeAndre Yedlin.

A huge chance for City and one that was not wasted by the ever-reliable Jamie Vardy - who scored his third goal of the season.

Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey went for an audacious effort from his own half after spotting Kasper Schmeichel off his goal-line, but the Dane recovered to keep it out.

Claude Puel would have been the happier of the two managers at the half-time break, with his side relatively unthreatened.

Maguire doubled Leicester's advantage after half-time, meeting a James Maddison corner and heading the Foxes away from the Magpies.

That was enough for the visitors who move to seventh in the table whilst Newcastle remain in the relegation zone!
