Leicester City captain Wes Morgan is set to be awarded with a new contract at the club later on in this week.
Morgan scored a dramatic late winner for the 10-man Foxes as they edged Burnley 2-1 at Turf Moor.
The 35-year-old is set to be offered a one-year contract extension at the King Power Stadium, which he is expected to sign later this week.
New boss Brendan Rodgers is clearly a huge fan of the Jamaican defender, insisting he is the right personality to have around the club.
Rodgers said on Morgan:
"I feel he is someone who is very important for the club.
"He won't play as much as he has done over his career, but his influence in the dressing room is very good.
"He is a very humble boy. He is a guy, in the short period I have known him, he is a good guy who is really with you, he wants the team to be the best.
"I am sure that (contract negotiations) will be sorted out fairly soon."
