There were rumours stating that the former Chelsea boss met up with vice-chairman Ed Woodward, but the manager refused to confirm or deny the gossip.

Manchester United lost 3-1 at West Ham on Saturday and rumours that Zinedine Zidane is being lined up as Mourinho's replacement have grown ever since.

Mourinho isn't too concerned by the calls for him to be sacked, though: "No, I don't think so (when asked if his job was on the line)."

The United boss was then pressed to whether or not he has met with Woodward following the side's defeat.

"That is a private matter, I am not asking you," Mourinho sternly replied. "It is a private matter, I am not going to answer to you."

Many of the United player's attitude have been thrown into doubt ever since their embarrassment on Saturday and Mourinho claimed that "some care more than others".

"Sometimes what you see is not what you get," Mourinho said. "I think some care more than others."
