Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson has signed a new long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium, with the forward struggling to force his way into Unai Emery's plans.
Nelson has been sent out on loan to German side Hoffenheim, where he will spend the rest of the season.
The England under-19 international is yet to make an appearance under new manager Emery, and it was reported that Nelson wanted to make a similar move to his mate Jadan Sancho, who moved from Manchester City to Borussia Dortmund.
German outlet Kicker report that the Gunners will receive a £450k from Hoffenheim for the loan fee of Nelson.
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger described Nelson as a "future star", when Wenger handed the youngster his debut against Southampton last season.
Hoffenheim face SC Freiburg tomorrow in the Bundesliga and it looks like Nelson won't have signed in time to make his debut then.
His parent club Arsenal travel to Wales on Sunday as they face struggling Cardiff City in the Premier League.
