Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves is the sort of player who would interest Liverpool, according to coach Pep Lijnders.
Lijnders worked closely with Neves when the pair were at Porto together and was full of praise for the Portuguese midfielder.
Neves has taken to life in the Premier League very well - scoring three goals and setting up two in his debut season in the division.
The 22-year-old moved to Molineux for £15m from Porto at the start of last season, and Neves had a huge influence in the side that was victorious in the Championship.
"I know him very well, his ambition, his passion for the game, his professionalism," Lijnders said.
"I know what he gives to the team and this type of player always interests us.
"I recognised him when I saw him at Wolves. I saw technique, professionalism. I saw the 2013-14 player I knew."
