ORIGI SET FOR JANUARY GALATASARAY SWITCH

Liverpool forward Divock Origi is set to complete a loan move to Turkish giants Galatasaray in the January transfer window.

Origi has been nowhere near the first team at Anfield this season, with Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge both ahead of the Belgian striker in the pecking order.

The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, where he ultimately impressed.

Origi stayed on Merseyside in a bid to impress Jurgen Klopp and force his way into his plans, but that hasn't happened.

Galatasaray are now monitoring Origi's situation according to TalkSport and are keen on an initial loan move, with a view to a permanent one.

Origi signed for Liverpool back when Brendan Rodgers was in charge after impressing for Belgium in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
