West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Andriy Yarmolenko will miss the rest of the season with injury.
Yarmolenko, who is back in training with his team-mates, is not ready to play any part of the remaining six games in the Premier League.
The Ukraine winger injured his Achilles against Tottenham back in October after starting five games at the start of the season.
"Yarmolenko is working very well, he has no pain," Pellegrini revealed to BBC Sport regarding the winger.
"But maybe it will be too soon for him to play before we finish (the season). To play this season, I don't think it would be good for him. It would be better to do a very good pre-season.
"He must be calm and wait for next season, working hard, and we will see the player that we bought because he is a very good player."
Yarmolenko signed for the Hammers back in the summer of 2018 from Borussia Dortmund for a fee in the region of £17.5m.
