Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has told Sky Sports News that he wants interim boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer to become permanent manager.
Solksjaer has led United to the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the Red Devils are back in contention for a top-four spot again in the Premier League.
The Norwegian took charge at Old Trafford following the club's worst start to a season in 28 years under Jose Mourinho - who was eventually sacked.
Pogba has been in scintillating form since the former striker's arrival as manager - scoring nine goals in 17 appearances under Solksjaer.
The France midfielder has revealed the time under Solksjaer has restored the squad's "freedom" and that the team want him to continue as United boss.
"Of course we want him to stay. The results have been great. I have a great relationship with him, he has a great relationship with the players.
"When a player is happy, he wants to keep being happy. Solksjaer deserves it. He knows the club, he knows everything about the club.
"He is a really happy coach that gave the confidence back to the players.
"This gave us the freedom to play and enjoy football again because maybe we lost that with the results that we had before."
