We're into gameweek 10 of the Premier League season now and Andrew Corns is back with his weekly predictions! Have a read and get some tips...
Brighton v. Wolverhampton
Wolves have had a better start than their supporters could have reasonably expected, even with a disappointing home defeat against Watford last weekend.
Brighton are coming off a grinding victory at St. James' Park and enter this match within three points of the top half of the table and only four points behind Wolves.
Both sides have shown a willingness to play expansive football and this should offer a good back and forth battle to entertain neutrals.
Wolves will look to bounce back from last week and come up just short as they push for winner late into the game.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw

Southampton v. Newcastle
The writing’s on the wall that Rafa Benitez’s time in Newcastle is nearing the end. His side are planted firmly at the bottom of the table on two points and any momentum they thought would come from their battle at Old Trafford has faded.
Southampton are only a point out of the relegation zone but will be buoyed by a quality performance and a point away to Bournemouth.
The match will be close and nothing to remember as Southampton just provide enough quality in the final third to collect all three points that will prove important come May.
Prediction: 1-0 Southampton
Liverpool v. Cardiff City
Cardiff for the first time see themselves out of the relegation zone after an impressive performance at home to Fulham.
Liverpool won’t be the side they would have preferred to play following that victory as the Reds have an opportunity to move into sole position of first, even if only for a short time.
Based on Liverpool’s form Wednesday against Red Star, it looks like the offense is ready to start firing.
Prediction: 3-0 Liverpool
Fulham v. Bournemouth
Fulham, the league’s most disappointing team, welcome a Bournemouth team that still sits in sixth even after a goalless draw at home to Southampton.
They’ll find space in Fulham’s defense here and continue a worrying trend for the Cottagers. What started as a season with so much optimism after so many high-profile signings has turned into a nightmare for Fulham fans.
Prediction: 2-1 Bournemouth
Watford v. Huddersfield
Watford have been on a bit of a Jekyll/Hyde run, losing convincingly at home to Bournemouth and then turning up in fashion away to Wolverhampton.
Huddersfield put up a fight against Liverpool and must feel their first win isn’t too far away. Huddersfield rely on their home atmosphere to give them energy and without that to keep their intensity levels up, Watford will wear them out and grab the win.
Prediction: 1-0 Watford
Leicester City v. West Ham United
Leicester come into the weekend after a short week having been beaten convincingly by Arsenal on Monday.
They’ll look to bounce back from two poor displays going against a West Ham side that have also lost two in a row, both 1-0 defeats, to Tottenham and Brighton.
I see these sides closer than some might in terms of talent top to bottom and with little separating them, I can’t confidently pick either team to get the victory.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw
Burnley v. Chelsea
For the first time, Chelsea find themselves looking to make up ground on Liverpool and Manchester City after somehow escaping with a point in a contentious affair against Manchester United last week.
Burnley are hoping to put last week’s demoralizing defeat at the Etihad in the past and rely on the Turf Moor atmosphere to give them the confidence to grab at least one point.
They’ll ultimately be undone by the ever-improving Chelsea midfield and wizardry of Eden Hazard. I’ll also go out on a limb and predict Olivier Giroud grabs his first goal of the season.
Prediction: 3-1 Chelsea
Crystal Palace v. Arsenal
Arsenal are amid a great run of for now that Unai Emery has settled in and seems to be finding his best starting lineup.
Crystal Palace typically rely on a great home atmosphere to carry their players over the line, but the problem this season is the side doesn’t have the quality to keep up with the biggest clubs.
Arsenal will find it hard to play free flowing football with Roy Hodgson setting Palace up in a manner where they’ll look to grab a point.
Their class in attack will prove to be too much even with Palace bunkered down and I expect Mesut Ozil to remain red hot guiding Arsenal to another victory.
Prediction: 2-0 Arsenal

Manchester United v. Everton
There seems to be some new life breathed into Jose Mourinho’s United team, even if they’re still well off the pace in a battle for Champions League football next year.
They’ll be desperate to improve their home form as they welcome an in-form Everton who have played great whenever Richarlison has featured.
This will be a typically scrappy affair from a Mourinho side and I’m not fully sold on them being ready to turn the tide.
Everton will grab a point and keep the pressure on Mourinho for at least another week.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw
Tottenham v. Manchester City
Fans will have to wait until Monday for the marquee matchup at Wembley. Manchester City should expect to come into the match needing a win to keep pace with Liverpool and Tottenham are able to leapfrog City with the victory.
This game will have it all and be one that has neutrals on the edge of their seats and both sets of supporters biting their nails until the end.
These two heavyweight clubs will trade blows and the few holes there are in City’s game will be enough for Spurs to capitalise and share the spoils.
Prediction: 2-2 Draw
