This weekend we are entering December and that means Premier League football is really starting to kick off. Andrew Corns has been pretty spot on with his Premier League Predictions so far this season - and he's back!

Cardiff City v. Wolves
Neither side looked convincing last weekend and even though Wolves got off to a flying start this season, the demands of the Premier League have begun to take their toll.
They should feel confident they can secure the victory but being away and not at their best will allow Cardiff to stay in the match and even flirt with the shock upset. In the end, both teams will have chances but end level.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw
Newcastle United v. West Ham United
Newcastle will be feeling good after a difficult away win at Turf Moor on Monday and you’d expect West Ham to be deflated after falling victim to another Manchester City thrashing.
West Ham aren’t as poor as they showed at the Etihad and will up their game to battle for a point against an improving and well managed Newcastle side.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw
Leicester City v. Watford
James Maddison will miss this match after an embarrassing sending off last week for diving, but Leicester are the better side top to bottom even in his absence.
Watford continue to slip in the table after setting a strong early pace and appear to be returning to where most had them in the middle of the table just above the relegation zone.
There should be opportunities at both ends and a vintage Jamie Vardy goal will earn Leicester the win.
Prediction: 2-1 Leicester City
Manchester City v. Bournemouth
City ended up working harder than expected on Tuesday to grab a crucial point in the Champions League against Lyon.
I wish more Premier League clubs would take note of City’s struggles in Champions League play and make life more difficult for them on a week to week basis.
Teams have shown that if you refuse to “park the bus” and put pressure on City’s defense, they’re capable of being exposed and beaten.
Bournemouth are a side capable of playing in that fashion but didn’t struggle to sustain a level of play for an entire 90-minute match.
They might cause City an early scare with the opening goal, but will sit back too quickly and too often, allowing the likes of David Silva, Raheem Sterling and others to pick their spots and ruthlessly finish their chances.
It’s a game I like on paper, but don’t see being competitive after thirty minutes.
Prediction: 4-1 City
Crystal Palace v. Burnley
Burnley produced another uninspired performance at home to Newcastle on Monday and have totally lost the identity they’ve built for themselves the last several years.
Crystal Palace also seem down a level compared to the way they finished last season and neither side does much to give me hope they’ll consistently play well.
This is a coin flip for me and even though a draw is what my brain says, I just think Burnley are so down now that Palace will use their home noise to grab a victory in the final quarter hour.
Prediction: 2-1 Palace
Huddersfield v. Brighton
David Wagner seems to have steered the Huddersfield ship into a position where they’re picking up points at a quicker rate than the start of the season.
Brighton are playing at the level expected of them hovering near mid-table and winning often enough to be in real danger of a relegation scare.
The two teams can push the game offensively and even though it’ll be low scoring, chances should be aplenty.
I don’t see much separating them at the moment and a draw looks like the most likely result.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw
Southampton v. Manchester United
What’s happening this year with Manchester United is confounding. Their fanbase is fully aware of the lack of leadership at the managerial level and a glaring depth deficiency in most positions compared to the other top clubs they should be battling in the table.
They snuck by with a last-minute win on Tuesday against Young Boys, but it was far from convincing.
Southampton haven’t shown much life recently either, falling victim to Fulham in Claudio Ranieri’s first match in charge of his new club.
Everything points to United getting the victory, but they must start showing me on a more regular basis before I can bring myself to pick them in matches that shouldn’t trouble them.
I’m going out on a limb and saying Southampton do enough to eek out a point in an underwhelming game.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw
Chelsea v. Fulham
Chelsea need to rebound in a major way after their worst display of the season in their defeat at the hands of Tottenham.
They welcome a Fulham team playing with renewed inspiration under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri.
They should give Chelsea real trouble and offer more defensive solidarity than in weeks past, but Chelsea are too strong up front, and their midfield will ultimately overwhelm anyone Fulham put in the centre of the park.
Prediction: 2-1 Chelsea
Arsenal v. Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham weren’t at their best on Wednesday, but still got the job done against a difficult Inter side.
You’d expect them to get up for such an important derby with top four positioning on the line.
Arsenal picked up a Europa League win on Thursday and with one less day to train, could be more sluggish to start between the two.
This rivalry usually produces memorable moments and goals. Both clubs are capable of brilliance under the right circumstances and it’s hard for me to see a favourite here.
I like Spurs’ best XI over the Gunners’ however the home atmosphere and revitalised energy under Unai Emery keeps the game level at the final whistle. This will be a wild one.
Prediction: 2-2 Draw
Liverpool v. Everton
Liverpool played below average in Paris on Wednesday and need to up their game substantially with a crucial derby as the featured match Sunday.
They welcome and Everton side who are turning into what most expected they’d look like under Marco Silva.
I anticipate Jurgen Klopp freshens his midfield up by bringing in the likes of Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho as well as shifting Mo Salah out wide and putting Firmino up top again.
The game will be fiercely contested which you expect from the Merseyside derby, but Liverpool’s overall quality and improved defence will see them grab a goal or two even if they’re not at their best to get the win and keep on City’s heels.
Prediction: 2-0 Liverpool
