Liverpool stay top of the league as they see off a poor Tottenham side 2-1 at Wembley Stadium...

Liverpool started off the game excellently with various counter-attacking chances but just lacked the final decisive pass.
The away fans thought they took the lead within 30 seconds, when James Milner's cross was flicked in by Roberto Firmino, but Sadio Mane was in an offside position and interfering with Michel Vorm's vision.
It was a half of little chances for the home side and they were perhaps lucky not to concede in the first 35 minutes.
But shortly after that the Reds did take the lead and it was a memorable day for Gini Wijnaldum, who scored his first away Premier League goal ever.
Wijnaldum's header was given thanks to Goal Line Technology and the away side took a deserved lead into half-time.
Tottenham were still struggling to create any sort of chances and you could see that Mauricio Pochettino's side were reluctant to push many players forward because of the threat Liverpool posed on the counter.
Liverpool doubled their lead not too long after half-time and Firmino was the player who bagged their second.
Good work from Mane on the left hand side saw a dangerous cross nearly turned into his own net by Jan Vertonghen before the ball fell kindly to the Brazilian, who couldn't miss.
An eye injury to Firmino saw the scorer of Liverpool's second be forced off with Jordan Henderson his replacement.
Erik Lamela's stoppage time goal was more of a consolation for the hosts, who didn't have enough time to produce a serious fight back.
And it was 2-1 that the game finished.
Liverpool could truly have won the game by 5/6 on a different day - it looked a very disjointed Spurs team, who have now lost two in a row.
The Reds stay top of the league boasting their 100% record after five games, whilst Spurs are down in fifth.
The standout player of the game has to be Liverpool's Mane who was excellent from the start and constantly looked a huge threat to Tottenham's defence.
A good day for Jurgen Klopp's men as they look to present themselves as serious title contenders.
