Wolves went into this game full of confidence following their excellent start to life back in the Premier League.

They hosted a Southampton side who would have been eager to wipe last week's disappointment at Anfield out of their mind.

The first-half certainly wasn't a cracker - but the hosts did impress with some pressure on the Saints goal.

No real chances came Wolves' way but some decent efforts that would have encouraged the Molineux crowd in the first-half.

However, they did make their pressure count early after the break - when Raul Jiminez set up substitute Ivan Cavaleiro, who scored on his Premier League debut for Wolves!

Jonny made it two for the hosts quite soon after, when he met Ben Doherty's cross and put it beyond Alex McCarthy.

That's how the game ended and Wolves moved up to eighth in the league, with the Saints down in 15th!
