UNITED BOARD FURIOUS WITH MOURINHO

Manchester United's board are furious with their manager Jose Mourinho following negativity, which they believe is making the situation worse than it actually is.

The board are concerned that Mourinho's rather public outbursts have made the situation turn into a full-blown crisis, Mirror Sport report.

Mourinho has also apparently left some players in his squad sure that he is actively trying to get the sack because of his actions.

Paul Pogba and Mourinho are currently undergoing a full-blown feud with the manager unhappy about the midfielder's attitude.

Alexis Sanchez was rather surprisingly dropped from the team last weekend and he's even questioned the ability of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly.

United next play on Saturday evening, as they host a winless Newcastle United side - in a "must win" game according to their midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
