Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar rules out a return to the club as the new technical director...
The former Dutch 'keeper is currently at Ajax as general director and it is speculated that United wanted their former player back as part of their backroom staff.
However, van der Sar has committed his future to Ajax by describing rumours as "nonsense", where he has done a fine job scouting young players.
"I saw it (the report) a few weeks ago in the press, but that story about United is nonsense," van der Sar said to Ziggo Sport on Friday.
"I think I have a two-year contract. Ajax is my club and I would like to stay longer. The success we strive for and want to achieve is beautiful."
United have also are reportedly interested in FA technical director Dan Ashworth and RB Leipzig head of recruitment Paul Mitchell.
The role is to try and identify and purchase the top talent in Europe as investments for the future.
