TEAM NEWS
Watford midfielder Tom Cleverley could feature for the first time since January on Tuesday night.
Sebastian Prodl and Daryl Janmaat are both bit again - however, Etienne Capoue will be banned following his red card against Leicester City on Saturday.
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is a major doubt, with Pep Guardiola saying the forward could be out for up to a month if he aggravates his muscle injury.
Oleksandr Zinchenko will be assessed because of his nose injury, whilst Kevin de Bruyne is not yet fit with damaged knee ligaments.
THE MANAGERS
Watford manager Javi Gracia has urged his teams to be more clinical in front of goal after good performances in the last few games, but not the results.
"We need to be more efficient and finish better. In the last games the feeling is we are not getting the reward the team sometimes deserves.
"We play against Manchester City and we know it will be a very demanding game. But playing at home with the support of our fans I am sure we are able to have a good performance."
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has talked about rotating his squad as teams are now getting into the hectic December period.
"I have a deep squad, I trust the players. Always we do something for today, not rotating the team for March or April. We try to do our best. Every situation is completely different."
Guardiola was very complimentary of his opposite number for Tuesday night's match, after Gracia has just signed a new four-and-a-half year contract at Watford.
"Excellent. He did well in many countries. Watford want continuity. That helps to give stability to the club and hopefully he can stay there for a long, long time."
MATCH STATS
Manchester City have won all eight of their last matches against Watford in all competitions.

City have recorded wins in their last six league matches, and are now unbeaten in 20 Premier League games (W17, D3).
