WOLVES VS BURNLEY: MATCH PREVIEW

Wolves look for back-to-back wins for the first time this season as they host a struggling Burnley side at Molineux...

The travelling Wolves fans in jubilant spirits last time out at West Ham...

TEAM NEWS:

Raul Jiminez looks a doubt for the hosts as the forward sustained a muscle injury whilst ion international duty with Mexico.

Winger Ivan Cavaleiro is still sidelined with a back injury - so he will have to wait for his first Premier League appearance.

As for Burnley, Stephen Ward is fit following an injury which forced him off in Republic of Ireland's loss to Wales.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson is available again for the Clarets - however, Ben Gibson is still out.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY:

Standards set from last game (1-0 win over West Ham United) must be met again in this clash, says Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo.

"The international break was in the calendar, so we knew it was coming," Santo said in his pre-match press conference.

"The most important thing is that we established standards in the last game, and we have to maintain those standards.

"Winning is always good and makes things a lot easier when you are trying to establish an identity like we are."

Burnley manager Sean Dyche revealed that the international break almost came at a good time for his side, who are still searching for their first win of the season.

"I think this was one that was needed, physically, to refresh, and also mentally," Dyche admitted to the press.

"All clubs try and find the right balance between work and rest, which we did and were quite happy with that.

"It was good for us this time around because there's been a lot of games, a lot of travelling and a lot of different scenarios."

BETTING ODDS/PREDICTION:

Wolves look good odds for this game with Bet 365; the newly-promoted sides are clear favourites at 3/4, which I believe is going to prove to be a good price.

Burnley, who have endured a very uncharacteristically bad start to the season, are 19/4 to get their first maximum points of the season.

I fancy the home side here, I think Burnley have been so poor so far this season and Santo's men will be eager to go out there and make it consecutive wins. 2-0 Wolves...
