WOLVES PREVIEW: SOUTHAMPTON (H)

Wolves host Southampton at the Molineux this weekend with intentions of continuing their strong start to the Premier league campaign.

Following the clubs best performance since returning to the top-flight against Manchester United last weekend. Nuno Espírito Santo will be hoping for another good performance against the saints, seeing his team pick up more valuable points.

A result for the west-midlands club would see them go unbeaten for 5 games in the English top division for the first time since 1981.

ESPIRITO SANTO'S COMMENTS:

The Wolves boss hinted at a return to his regular starting lineup after making nine changes during the week but was adamant that the style of football is always the same as he said:

"Changes doesn’t mean anything for us; we keep the same style, we keep the same ideas and philosophy and game by game, it doesn’t matter what competition.”

TEAM NEWS:

In terms of team news, there are once again no fresh injury concerns for the Wolves boss to ponder, thus a return to the XI that faced Manchester United last week looks likely.

If so this would be the sixth consecutive Premier League game in which Nuno has remained unchanged in his starting lineup.

BETTING ODDS/PREDICTION:

Wolves strong start to the season is reflected in them being 4/5 odds to win whereas the visitors sit at a less likely 17/4.

Raul Jimenez is favourite to continue his goal scoring form at 6/4 while Summer singing Danny Ings is most likely for the Saints at 11/4.

I think that Wolves will follow up their exploits at Old Trafford last week with a win against Southampton.

Wolves have looked vibrant and full of ideas this season and against a side who looked toothless last week at Anfield, I’m going for a 2-0 home win.
